We love being a place where people gather. To ensure the best experience for both your group and our café guests, please review our group reservation guidelines below.
Groups of 6-9: Reservations are recommended & available when space allows in the café or upstairs lounge.
Book Clubs & Small Groups
Society House loves being a gathering place for readers and community groups. Reserved seating for groups of up to 10 guests is available during regular bookstore hours with a $100 minimum group purchase in books, cafe beverages, and/or food. Reservations are limited to two hours, based on availability, and do not include private or exclusive use of a space.
Groups of more than 10 guests, groups who need a private space, wish to bring in outside food or beverages, need additional setup, or want exclusive use of a space will need to reserve one of our private events spaces.

Yes! Society House is a true independent bookstore featuring a curated selection of fiction, nonfiction, children’s books, gift titles, classics, new releases, and lifestyle books.

Yes. Our café will offer coffee, espresso drinks, cold bottled drinks, and a curated pastry selection during normal business hours in addition to our bookstore and event offerings.

Our venue spaces are designed for gatherings of many kinds. From private dinners and showers to corporate meetings, receptions, book clubs, and community events. With multiple gatherings spaces throughout the building, Society House offers a distinctive setting for both seated and social-style events.
